18th ATP of the CLP regulation published

Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/692 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 3 May 2022, it is the 18th adaptation to technical and scientific progress of CLP. This Regulation amends Table 3 of Annex VI part 3 of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. This new adaptation:
• Deletes 1 entry in Annex VI (Index 615-007-00-X)
• Modifies 17 entries of Annex VI including cumene, 2-butoxyethanol, bisphenol A, trichlorosilane, etc.
• Introduces 39 new substances whose classification and labeling have been harmonized, e.g. ammonium bromide, propylbenzene, piperonyl butoxide, sodium pyrithione, etc.
These modifications shall apply from 23 November 2023. By way of derogation, however, substances and mixtures may be classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with this Regulation from its date of entry into force.
