17th ATP of the CLP regulation published

Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/849 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 28 Mai 2021. It is the 17th adaptation to technical and scientific progress of CLP. This Regulation amends Table 3 of Annex VI part 3 of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.
This new adaptation:
• Deletes 1 entry in Annex VI (Index 015-192-00-1).
• Modifies 39 entries of Annex VI including boric acid, several copper compounds, 2-phenoxyethanol, etc.
• Introduces 22 new substances whose classification and labeling have been harmonized, especially citric acid, methyl salicylate, benzyl salicylate, p-mentha-1,3-diene, etc.
These modifications shall apply from 17 December 2022. By way of derogation, however, substances and mixtures may be classified, labeled, and packaged in accordance with the new provisions before that date.
