The OECD QSAR Toolbox

The OECD QSAR Toolbox

lundi 28 mars 2022
A quantitative structure-activity relationship ((Q)SAR) is a mathematical model describing the relationship between the structural characteristics of a chemical substance and its physico-chemical, biological and environmental fate properties. The QSAR Toolbox is a free software application that can be used to highlight similar structural features and/or mechanisms or modes of action of chemicals. This will provide additional (eco)toxicity data in order to better assess the risks.

The Toolbox has been managed by ECHA and the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) for over 10 years. A webinar will be organised on 28 April on this topic, with speakers from ECHA, the OECD and the US Environmental Protection Agency. Practical advice on how to use the new features of the box as well as an overview of planned future developments will be on the agenda. You will also learn how to use it to support read-across studies for REACH information requirements.

You can register and send your questions online in advance on the following link : EUSurvey - Survey (europa.eu).
